Elephant Trunk Hill - Symbol of Guilin

Rising over 180 feet above the water, Elephant Trunk Hill is a spectacular limestone karst hill with a naturally-shaped cave at the bottom.  The hill that stands majestically on the western bank of the Li River, looks like a huge elephant dipping its trunk into the Li river to quench its thirst.  It is extraordinarily beautiful at dusk.
